Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEI&B) as an Emotional Experience for Designing Learning Strategies

<p>In certain leadership practices, positive emotions such as&nbsp;<em>calmness</em>,&nbsp;<em>cheerfulness</em>,&nbsp;<em>attention</em>, or&nbsp;<em>enthusiasm</em>&nbsp;are discussed for the benefit of developing interpersonal relationships and increasing job satisfaction and performance outcomes.</p> <p>The studies centered around emotional intelligence may introduce a set of skills leaders should equip themselves with; however, such skills are more concerned with how leaders regulate and communicate their own emotions versus managing the emotions of their team.</p> <p>Many organizations have valued employees who do not express emotions and hence have not advocated for emotion management.
