A Runner’s Guide to Cycling: Riding in a Paceline

<p>You&rsquo;ve probably seen them if you&rsquo;ve been running for long enough. You&rsquo;re heading down a road as fast as you can. Suddenly, a bunch of cyclists in a tight group blows past you, effortlessly cruising past you and then they&rsquo;re gone.</p> <p>It&rsquo;s even more demoralizing if they zoom by and you&rsquo;re also riding a bike.</p> <p>Pacelines maintain high speed with little effort because they are drafting: following very close and staying in the slipstream of the person in front of you.
