Crafting Playful Experiences: Transitioning from Design for XR to Game Design

I recently got selected as a creator for the UEFN Women Creators Program, 2023- organized by Epic Games and Dancing Atoms. I am one of the lucky 100 women who were selected from 4 regions worldwide, to explore the power of Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN)! As part of the 5 week program, we have to design games for using UEFN platform, to be played in Fortnite.
To be completely honest, I have always found game design challenging, since it heavily operates on “fun” and that itself is so subjective!

Anyway, today is day 4 of the program and listed below are my observations- highlighting differences between Designing for XR and Designing Games!

User Centered vs. Player Centered
