We have to talk about…Man Utd’s calamity in Copenhagen

I didn’t watch this game live, as I was watching Arsenal beat Seville, but having just seen the highlights I felt compelled to put what happened at the Parken into words, because honestly you couldn’t have scripted a madder football match than this one. It literally had everything: an early goal scored by a returning hero, a sending off, two penalties, a last gasp winner by a 17 year old substitute and of course plenty of controversial VAR decisions. And, if that wasn’t enough, the game was also interrupted by a pitch invader.
