Reflections after COP 28

<p>Reflecting on COP 28, my experience was shaped by a blend of preparation, engagement, and personal perspective. Having immersed myself in the terminology of the global stocktake, loss and damage, and the global goal on adaptation through the&nbsp;<a href="https://www.who.int/news-room/events/detail/2023/11/23/default-calendar/climate-classroom-on-cop28---climate-negotiations-and-health" rel="noopener ugc nofollow" target="_blank">Climate Classroom @COP28</a>&nbsp;, I felt more equipped to navigate the complexities of the conference. A year of participation in the&nbsp;<a href="https://www.publicengagementleadership.com/changemakers" rel="noopener ugc nofollow" target="_blank">Global Climate and Health Leadership Program</a>&nbsp;further refined my understanding, values, and approach to COP 28.</p> <p>These musings don&rsquo;t aim for academic profundity, but rather offer a synthesis of insights from one of the world&rsquo;s most significant gatherings under the United Nations umbrella. I felt no pressure to produce an intellectually dense piece, much like the absence of pressure to aggressively network.
