You Don’t Know What You’ve Got ’Til It’s Gone

<p>It&rsquo;s been nearly a whole year since my last contract finished, and I decided to take my leave from the corporate world. Like many people, I typically tend to reflect a little at this time of year. I can be as nostalgic as the next person, and while I love to look back on my memories, photos, and posts, I try to be grounded in the now rather than the past and the future. But if we don&rsquo;t occasionally look back, we&rsquo;re destined to make the same mistakes over again.</p> <p>A few weeks ago, I wrote about my initial experiences of moving to Prague to start what turned out to be the first of many contracts in the city over the next eight years.
