You Don’t Know What You’ve Got ’Til It’s Gone
<p>It’s been nearly a whole year since my last contract finished, and I decided to take my leave from the corporate world. Like many people, I typically tend to reflect a little at this time of year. I can be as nostalgic as the next person, and while I love to look back on my memories, photos, and posts, I try to be grounded in the now rather than the past and the future. But if we don’t occasionally look back, we’re destined to make the same mistakes over again.</p>
<p>A few weeks ago, I wrote about my initial experiences of moving to Prague to start what turned out to be the first of many contracts in the city over the next eight years. And I’m still here!</p>
