The UK’s Political Party Conferences 2023
<p>This year’s season of conferences begins today, 23 September, and ends on 11 October. I will update this story as the conferences for each party progresses.</p>
<p>They take place when parliament is in recess, last between 3 and 4 days, and serve as opportunities for each main party to debate policy. They broadly set out each party’s plans for the next general election.</p>
<p>The Liberal Democrats kicked off yesterday, 23 September, in Bournemouth; the Conservative party conference starts on 1 October; and the Labour party on 8 October.</p>
