Amy Coney Barrett and the Exposure of the (People of Praise): A Christian Cult

Amy Coney Barrett, the Supreme Court Justice who succeeded the late Ruth Bader Ginsburg, has recently faced scrutiny due to her connections with the People of Praise (PoP), a secretive Christian cult that considers conservative Supreme Court Justice Amy Coney Barrett, as a permanent member.

The People of Praise are led exclusively by men and were founded in the 1970s as part of a Christian charismatic movement. Like other charismatic communities, it blends Catholicism and Protestantism. Its members are most likely Catholic and include some Protestant members who share prophecies and speak in tongues. One former member stated that the people of praise truly believe that God can speak through members to deliver messages.
