Dead Combo
<p>This month (April 2018) it was released the last Dead Combo’s album, named Odeon Hotel. Before going into the details of the new album we need to re-frame Dead Combo in Portuguese music.</p>

<p>Dead Combo were formed in 2003 due to an invitation from Henrique Amaro (from Antena 3) to record a track for a tribute album of Carlos Paredes (the most famous and important Portuguese guitarist — one of the masters of Portuguese Guitar).</p>
<p>In the beginning was the verb, in this case, Tó Trips and Pedro Gonçalves. The first feature that is notable in Dead Combo is their imagery identity, Tó Trips is an undertaker, and Gonçalves is a gangster. These two characters well dressed, serious, and mysterious, make them unique in the Portuguese music, or even in the world. In Portugal, there is one guy that may “compete” with them, The Legendary Tigerman.</p>
