Colombia 2022 Travel Report
<p>Colombia prides itself for being the country hosting the most bird species in the world. Whilst this is appealing to birders, I believe this still undersells Colombia as a top notch destination for natural exploration.</p>
<p>The reason Colombia hosts so many bird species is its spectacular geography. It has coast lines along both the Atlantic and Pacific oceans and contains a large section of the Andes mountain range. This dramatic geography gives rise to a wide array of natural habitats, including the Amazon basin, cloud forests, wetlands, mangroves, coasts, islands, plains and the high altitude ice-cold Páramo tundra.</p>
