The Book of Clarence Thomas
<p>I saw Jeymes Samuel’s <em>The Book of Clarence</em> for a second time this weekend, and there’s so much I could say about the story, the cinematography, the acting performances, the soundtrack, etc… I flat out loved this movie, and think it has all the makings of a classic, but that’s a post for another day.</p>
<p>Today’s post is about the irony of the twin brother characters portrayed by Lakeith Stanfield being named Clarence and Thomas. The naming of these characters is surely intentional, and I’m here to unpack it for us. <em>*cracks knuckles*</em></p>
