Charity and Climate Change: Are We Addressing Environmental Crises and Philanthropy Correctly?

<p>Looking at the &lsquo;charity appeals&rsquo; I get the feeling that something is wrong. The problem is not the charity itself, of course. What I don&rsquo;t understand is this idea of perpetual stasis, in which nothing changes except feeling a little better for having done our bit.</p> <p>I even have the fear that this remote charity is like a leash, because it is complicit in a narrative of things that doesn&rsquo;t seem to want to change: would you ever want to be the one receiving it?
