From Character Illustrator to Blockchain Product Manager: A Journey

<p><em>This essay was written in February 2023, marking the 11th month of my deep dive into the blockchain scene. (</em><a href="https://blog.naver.com/do_ong_geul/223014734505" rel="noopener ugc nofollow" target="_blank"><em>Korean original</em></a><em>)</em></p> <p>Writing here feels like a long-lost activity. How has everyone been? It feels like I&rsquo;ve been neglecting my creative work for nearly a year. I&rsquo;d like to briefly share what&rsquo;s been happening during this time.</p> <p>I began my journey as an illustrator in September 2019 when I took on the challenge of creating Kakao emoticons. I&rsquo;ve always enjoyed expressing myself in various forms, and the tablet became one of my preferred mediums. I particularly enjoyed recording my emotions, life wisdom, and moments of enlightenment. As I collected sentences that resonated with me, I started turning them into illustrations one by one.&nbsp;<strong>While managing&nbsp;</strong><a href="https://www.instagram.com/nuggetisnotchicken/" rel="noopener ugc nofollow" target="_blank"><strong>Nugget&rsquo;s Instagram</strong></a><strong>, I found genuine interest in connecting with people through my artwork and sharing everyday emotions and thoughts.</strong></p> <p>In truth, since September 2019, I&rsquo;ve harbored a dream of making a living through art.
