The CES Letter: Reaction to All 13 Chapters
<p>I belong to a family who are active members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Growing up, it was no surprise to hear other people calling us “Mormons.” Those who are not members of our church do it all the time. However, we were taught to correct them each time.</p>
<p>“Tell them that we are LDS or latter-day saints,” my Sunday school teacher would say. I always follow.</p>
<p>That’s why I got slightly confused when the campaign “I’m a Mormon” started. But I still went along with it. I changed my Facebook profile photo, as did other church members, telling everyone how proud I am to be a Mormon.</p>
