Celebrating the Holiday Season In the City
<p>The City — New York City, the Big Apple, the island of Manhattan.</p>
<p>The Sunday before Thanksgiving my husband Steve and I drove into Manhattan, a challenging, demanding, wearying experience, one we would not normally, when in our right minds, undertake. But our Florida family was visiting the Big Apple for a few days, and we decided to join them.</p>
<p>Train or bus is the best way to enter Manhattan, but we were not returning home after our city stay, but moving on to my sister’s for Thanksgiving, in the opposite direction from home.</p>
