One of our own was shot.

<p>As so many of our members readied to celebrate the Lunar New Year, California suffered one of the worst mass shootings in our state&rsquo;s history when 11 people celebrating the holiday were gunned down in Monterey Park. Two days later, another gunman killed seven people in Half Moon Bay. Later that same day, a gunman randomly fired outside and into a local gas station convenience market in Oakland, injuring four and killing an 18-year-old who was there to watch a music video being filmed.</p> <p>And that&rsquo;s where it really hit home.
