Day Care Death Due To Drugs
<p>New York City police said a 1-year-old boy died, and three other children were hospitalized after apparently “coming into contact with an opioid” at a home-based childcare site in the Bronx on Friday.</p>
<p><a href="https://www.nbcnews.com/news/crime-courts/1-baby-dead-3-kids-hospitalized-fentanyl-exposure-new-york-city-daycar-rcna105474" rel="noopener ugc nofollow" target="_blank">Police said </a>the 911 call came in just after 2:40 p.m. on Friday.</p>
<p>Officers also found an unconscious 2-year-old boy and an 8-month-old girl, who were also transported to a hospital; the boy is in critical condition and the girl is stable.</p>
<p>The 1-year-old, identified by police as Nicholas Dominici, was pronounced dead at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx.</p>
