From cows to camels
<p>In the scorching summer of 2018, while catching up with a buddy in our quaint little hometown Heerhugowaard (the Netherlands), my boyfriend hit me with some major news. HE GOT THE JOB! And it wasn’t just any job – it was a senior position at a massive IT company in dazzling DUBAI!</p>
<p>Given his decade-long love affair with nearby Oman and its charms, going back was a no-brainer for him. As for me? How could I resist a sunny desert filled with adorable camels and sky-piercing towers?</p>
<p>We'd often daydreamed about leaving the Netherlands for sunnier adventures, and this opportunity was our golden ticket! Things kicked into high gear once we inked the paperwork. With a mere two months to prep for our big move, it was a whirlwind!</p>
