A Lesson in Calmness

<p>We were returning from our walk. Dusk had fallen as we were returning. Mrs. suggested we take a look inside our new building she had heard so much about. But right outside the building, something else greeted us.</p> <p>Bobby was perched on the horizontal bar of a pole, right inside our lawns, as a small oval silhouette, scanning his surroundings for edible prey. As I moved towards him instinctively, he flew off into the dark shadows of the Baobab and its adjacent trees. The sun had set, the grass was tall and the likelihood of snakes being present was strong.
