<p><strong>Happy New Year!</strong> As I approach 2024, I wanted to share a significant and long overdue change to #<a href="https://www.investblk.org/" rel="noopener ugc nofollow" target="_blank">InvestBLK’s</a> business model.</p>
<p>For those who don’t know me, my name is <a href="https://www.iamdennismaurice.com/" rel="noopener ugc nofollow" target="_blank">Dennis Maurice Dumpson</a>. I have spent 20 years navigating diverse communities — affluent communities as a fundraiser, minority-owned business communities, schools and school systems, and neighborhoods across Philadelphia and nationally. I continue to find new ways to educate myself and do the work of ensuring I am a competent inclusive, racially and ethnically equitable leader for my clients. Unfortunately, I have not held that standard when vetting new clients. Some of which are deeply invested in reframing how they build inclusive communities and others who just want to be told what to do. Starting this year, that changes for my business. This work has no room for performers, it requires the equitable contribution of co-creators.</p>
