Blue Jeans Stay the Same, Even When They Change

<p>What is retro? Look at the jeans in my photo. One pair is decades old, and the other was recently purchased. Can you tell the difference? What does retro really mean? Is it new being old, or old being new?</p> <p>I started pondering these questions when I went shopping for a new pair of jeans last week. The similarities between my old jeans and the new jeans I just bought struck me. Both appear to be used and broken in, but how they got that way drastically differs.</p> <p>My old jeans went through more than 30 years of laundering, and wear and tear.
