<p>None of us actually saw it happen. It&rsquo;s probably a good thing, since it would have invoked such traumatic feelings of helplessness. Many times I&rsquo;ve closed my eyes and imagined what it must have been like to slip off that seemingly dry rock and tumble down the waterfall onto the wet rocks below.</p> <p>His friend and I had gone up ahead and found him at the bottom of the falls, slumped over, conscious, and groaning in pain.
