Bears in Bytes: Utilizing NLP and ML for Insights into Human-Bear Interactions in California via Social Media

<p>Have you ever imagined scrolling through your social media feed, mainly Twitter (X), and spotting a bear&hellip; or thousands of them? No, Twitter hasn&rsquo;t been invaded by furry friends. Instead, utilizing Natural Language Processing (NLP) technologies like text classification, sentiment analysis, and Large Language Models (LLMs), we dove deep into social media posts, extracting over 6000 real-life bear encounters reported in California from 2010 to 2022.
