What is Barbie Leadership?
<p>According to Marian Iszatt-White and Christopher Saunders, authenticity is derived from an individual’s personal awareness of their “experiences, needs, thoughts, wants, emotions, preferences and beliefs”. The performance of authenticity requires an active engagement and investigation of your experiences, needs and reflection on various aspects of your life, emotions, preferences and ideology.</p>

<p>I am a writer, and an aspiring leader. My experience of the world and my social identity markers will not, and do not, fall away when I enter a position of leadership. My leadership philosophy is therefore underpinned and inspired by the exploration of feminine leadership, the power of authenticity and subsequent vulnerability, as well as the importance of building and managing relationships with team-mates.</p>
