<p>I was born and raised in Maine. It’s a beautiful, peaceful, idylic place. Imagine my surprise and dismay when I read about the mass shooting this week. The following post showed up five years ago on my friend’s FB page 1/24/18 (just 24 days into the new year). I wrote the whole article back then. Sadly, nothing has changed.</p>
