What I learned when I swam from Asia to Europe
<p>After months of preparation, thousands of laps in the pool and many hours in the sea, I was finally jumping into the cold waters of the Bosphorus Strait. I was taking part in Instanbul’s annual swimming race and the next time I touched dry land, I’d be on a completely different continent.</p>
