Lesson from Artwork & Leaving My Comfort Zone* Let’s Learn Together

What I learned from sketching and rendering this artwork, challenging myself to try different art styles

I learned that it is important to get the proportions and angles correct in my sketches, otherwise the mistakes will be more noticeable once I start rendering. I will take note of any mistakes I make so that I can avoid them in the future.

I learned that it is helpful to zoom out and look at my whole picture frequently while I am sketching and rendering. This helps me to identify any areas that are out of proportion or that need improvement. I’m going to try to draw the whole thing without zooming in too much and improve my accuracy and speed.

I learned that I can achieve a lot with just a few brushes when I am rendering. I don’t need to use a lot of different brushes to create a detailed and realistic image. I just need to focus on using the brushes in a way that creates the desired effect.

I learned that I can learn a lot from other artists by studying their work. I can see how they use different techniques and styles to create their art. This helps me to develop my own artistic vision.

I learned that it is important to understand the principles of light and shadow when I am rendering human anatomy. This helps me to create realistic and believable images.

I learned that the best way to improve my art is to practice regularly and learn from my mistakes. I am always challenging myself to try new things and step outside of my comfort zone.
