Goodbye, English! Hello, Argentine Spanish!

Have you ever felt like a traveler in your own language? Like you’re writing in a borrowed tongue, trying to fit into a linguistic mold that doesn’t quite belong to you? Well, I have. And after a long journey through the twists and turns of the English language, I’ve finally decided to come back home, to my linguistic roots, to Argentine Spanish.

Why, you might ask? Well, let me share with you some personal reflections that have led me to make this radical and seemingly conceited decision.

Firstly, writing in English, while it has been an enriching experience, has always made me feel like I’m seeing the world through a fogged-up window. Yes, I can express myself, communicate, make myself understood, but there’s always a distance, a sort of filter between my thoughts and the words that express them. Like I’m looking at my reflection in a warped mirror.
