We’ve already bitten the bullet on display size. Even though the iPhone 15 Pro has the A17 Pro chip, which is supposed to be powerful and power-efficient, with a bunch of gaming features and improved machine learning, we didn’t see the battery life go anywhere, which is a definite disappointment.
But next year, Apple (hence TSMC) will already have more experience in manufacturing 3nm chips and could make the A18 Pro more power-efficient. The new display options could also contribute to longer life for iPhones on a single charge.
