The Many Things Anti-LGBTQ Christians Don’t Think About
<p>We have plenty of evidence that anti-LGBTQ thoughts and beliefs directly contribute to behaviors Paul describes as “<a href="https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Galatians+5%3A19-26&version=NIV" rel="noopener ugc nofollow" target="_blank">fruits of the flesh</a>” (Gal. 5:19–26) and that any reasonable person would find problematic.</p>
<p>People who regard same-sex relationships as sin often denounce LGBTQ people with “hatred” and “fits of rage.” Think about the 1990s. Think about the current furor over trans youth. They also create “discord,” “dissensions,” and “factions” within their churches, schools, and communities. Some may display “jealousy,” “selfish ambition,” and “envy” while jockeying to lead or influence the anti-LGBTQ movement.</p>
