From America to Austria

<p>There are a lot of Americans in Austria, from the Brazilians I&rsquo;ve met in craft bars to the Californians teaching ESL in classrooms. There&rsquo;s a network of international teachers, spouses, fintech bros. You just have to find it.</p> <p>When I made the big move from the U.S.A. to Austria, on my own eight years ago, I felt like I was the only American, and subsequently, the&nbsp;<strong>loudest</strong>&nbsp;person in Vienna.</p> <p>Over the years, my friends and I have discussed cultural differences at length &mdash; particularly between the U.S.A. and Austria (as we know it from our experiences in Vienna, it&rsquo;s capital city &mdash; so, obviously, these are generalisations).&nbsp;<strong>One particular difference is the sound barrier versus the physical barrier.</strong></p> <p><a href="https://medium.com/@byhollygirling/from-america-to-austria-511b26c5fc81"><strong>Visit Now</strong></a></p>
