The Mysterious Case of Duong and America Nguyen

<p>Bealeton, VA, USA is a small and quaint town in the north of the state near Manassas. It&rsquo;s made of some subdivisions and dairy and beef farms. Its downtown area consists of two strip malls, and just one grocery store. One would normally think of such a town as a safe place where not much happens. However, in 2018, the town was rattled by the dual murder of a father and son, Duong and America Nguyen. Their murders remain unsolved to this day.</p> <p><strong>Who They Were</strong></p> <p>Duong Nguyen emigrated to the US from North Vietnam over thirty years prior to his murder. He loved his new country and state so much that he named his son America and his daughter Virginia. He even got a tattoo of his date of citizenship, to commemorate the life he&rsquo;d built for himself in the US. He and his family had moved into their newly-built house in Bealeton in 2017.
