Alpha Bloodlines: Concrete Jungle
<p>The snow still whirled down out of the sky; the thick flakes had started to cover the New York streets with ever more thickening drifts of snow. Our band, Alpha Bloodlines, was putting on a show at Madison Square Garden, to mark the occasion of our 30th anniversary since first forming the band. We’d taken the chance of shopping in New York while we still could, on our day off; the show itself was scheduled for the following evening.</p>
<p>Richard and I had just come out of the Restoration Hardware store on Broadway and my husband still was laughing at me, even as I pulled on my latest acquisition — a Beanie hat with built-in Bluetooth controls and earphones for my mp3 player.</p>
