Shuttlewood’s Warminster Mystery and the Alien’s Message
<p>The “Warminster Mystery” started when Arthur Shuttlewood, a reporter for the Warminster Journal, wrote a famous book about it. He organized skywatches to look for strange things in the sky and talked a lot about it. Shuttlewood said he got phone calls from people who claimed to be aliens and even had a visit from one. These aliens said they were from a planet called Aenstria. The first calls started in early September 1965, and they kept coming for seven weeks.</p>
<p>There were three aliens: Caellsan (the leader), Selorik (a translator), and Traellison (the queen). Each time they called, they used a public phone in a specific part of the city. Shuttlewood said he never heard coins being put into the phone before they spoke. They talked about how Earth is in trouble because of atomic weapons and pollution. They said humans should go back to simpler, more spiritual ways of living because they were made special, not evolved from animals.</p>
