Albert Corado and the People’s City Council origin story

Albert Corado is who you’d want as a neighbor, a friend, and an activist. He’s relentless. He’s more idealistic than you can imagine. And best of all, he doesn’t quit.

Both Spanish and English was spoken in the North Hollywood home he grew up in, but this native Californian could often be a self-proclaimed brat. If a parent spoke to him in Spanish, he replied in English. A behavior not uncommon in major cities built by immigrants whose kids want all things American.

Regardless, Albert has deep love for his family and honors his sister’s memory by fighting to change things in LA so that her tragic death at the hands of a trigger-happy LAPD officer doesn’t happen to your family.
