This Miami
<p>The thick, humid air warns of a storm coming that may or may not actually start. It’s the humid air that welcomes southern peoples and, probably, makes it hard to leave. Because it and the words being spoken reminds them of home. Anything after this will be disappointing. This place is made for them.</p>
<p>Recently on a twenty-hour layover in Miami I walked eight miles wandering the enchanting city of welcome. This is a city that feels more Latin American than American, where the food tastes like home, and the people with their dozens of shades of beige, tan, brown, and Black, are beautiful.</p>
