The district is quiet early in the morning and no one notices this Shadow pointing binoculars at the first floor of the Young and Jackson Hotel. The interior of the hotel’s dining room is silent, darkened before a day’s preparation begins. The bar and table tops are spotless and the taps shine in rising sunlight.</p>
<p>The Shadow’s heart begins to race, something is moving in the pub. They train the binoculars on a large oil painting swinging out from the wall like a door.</p>
