Advanced OBS settings: What they are and how to use them

<p>So you&rsquo;ve got an NVIDIA or AMD graphics card and want to use either NVENC or AMF. Now what? Well, despite its simple name, Preset can have a big impact on your video quality when streaming or recording. There are a lot of options here, so let&rsquo;s start with the top two.</p> <p><strong>Quality and Max Quality will give you the best results when it comes to video encoding, with Max Quality going as far as to incorporate two-pass encoding.&nbsp;</strong>If you&rsquo;re using NVENC and a high-end GPU, like an RTX card, Max Quality is for you. If you&rsquo;re anything using AMF or a GTX Nvidia GPU, Quality is still a very good option will ensure your PC doesn&rsquo;t melt and you don&rsquo;t drop frames.</p> <p>There are options below that, including Performance and Max Performance, but those settings will cut out other features, like B-frames (more on that soon), so either go with Max Quality or Quality unless your stream is&nbsp;<em>really&nbsp;</em>stuttering.</p> <p><a href="https://blog.mobcrush.com/advanced-obs-settings-what-they-are-and-how-to-use-them-3bffd9995030"><strong>Click Here</strong></a></p>
