There is Only One Way Forward to Address Immigration: Shift the Paradigm

<p>Immigration has long been a divisive issue in the United States. Candidates for elected office have run on the platform of &ldquo;fixing&rdquo; immigration problems again and again, only to find that the issue is too large and overwhelming to address with a quick fix.</p> <p>America has also spent years indulging its disputes, with elected leaders using social media and Congressional microphones for shameful displays of name-calling and verbal abuse, wallowing in their enjoyment of childish vendettas while important issues go unaddressed.</p> <p>While these&nbsp;<em>public servants</em>&nbsp;satiate their desire for public approbation, or, in some cases, their seeming addiction to on-camera rants, people continue to suffer. Americans are suffering for a variety of reasons. People who want to come to America are suffering, as well.
