What I Learned About Bad Drivers When I Drove an 18 Wheeler
<p>The most important part of the training in the truck driver certification was the safety training. They showed videos in which various drivers were at fault, and so many videos where fatalities where the final result. The message that was repeated over and over was take your time and don’t take avoidable chances.</p>
<p>Each of the lessons that we learned showed avoidable risks that shouldn’t have been taken. A video that I will never forget showed a truck trying to squeeze between the railroad crossing bars. It was not successful, and the truck driver died because of his own bad decisions.</p>
