{"id":11870,"title":"SCPH5500.bin, SCPH5501.bin, SCPH5502.bin \u2014 Playstation bios files","slug":"playstation-bios","content":"<p>The Playstation 1 bios files are&nbsp;<strong>SCPH5500.bin<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>SCPH5501.bin<\/strong>, and&nbsp;<strong>SCPH5502.bin<\/strong>.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p><img alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/miro.medium.com\/v2\/resize:fit:875\/1*Bx0ueKb6tb4KvOJJ9djmPA.png\" style=\"height:503px; width:700px\" \/><\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>OpenEmu on the mac is brilliant &mdash; you can quite comfortably play Playstation 1 games once you have it set up.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>The problem with OpenEmu is does not come loaded with the&nbsp;<strong>Playstation bios files<\/strong>. There are multiple versions on the web and one of them does not work with OpenEmu (<strong>SCPH5502.bin<\/strong>&nbsp;is the faulty one).
